The Enugu State Government has declared Sept. 25 a work-free-day for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election rally.

A statement signed by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Mr Chuks Ugwoke, on Tuesday, directed markets, banks and schools in the state to remain shut while the rally lasted.
Ugwoke said the closure was to enable the people to participate fully in the rally, organised by the Enugu Movement for the Re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan (EMJ).
He advised the people to adhere to the directive and appealed to them to come out en masse to attend the rally, billed to hold at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. (NAN)
